Most safety boots stop what's on the outside. Then cook your feet from the inside.
Walk into any hardware shop and the shoes on the shelf were built for one job: stop nails, drops, and slips. Important — and this pair does all three. But almost all of them seal your foot inside thick leather and solid rubber. Great for protection. Terrible for a hot day. Yes. Blucleus work boots are independently tested to the European safety standard for occupational footwear. They meet impact, compression, puncture-resistance, and slip-resistance criteria required on most regulated sites.
How does the sizing run?
True to UK size. If you're between sizes or wear a thick sock for cold environments, go up half a size. Full size guide on this page.
Are the boots waterproof?
The upper is water-resistant — handles rain, wet surfaces, and brief exposure to standing water. Not designed for full submersion. For sustained wet environments, consider a dedicated waterproof model.
How long do they last?
With daily wear in standard site conditions, our customers typically get 9–14 months of service. Shape retention is built into the design — the cushioning doesn't flatten the way it does in cheap safety boots.
Are these for indoor or outdoor work?
